As a keen musician, I’m really pleased to see the industry pushing the boundaries. Behringer have announced a mixer with an iPad dock on it. Whatever your thoughts on the iPad, you’ve got to admit this looks pretty bad ass 🙂
Pictured is the iX1642USB which is the smallest of the new offerings. There are two further models which offer more tracks/buses. Each model has built in effects offering the usual suspects (reverb, chorus, flange, delay etc) and is connected via USB.
I remember I started out on a reel to reel in my bedroom with my first band. Things have certainly moved on. Man, do I feel old 🙂
